BroBruh: An Unlikely Friendship Takes Flight

BroBruh tells the story of JC Trotter, a former rapper struggling to make ends meet as a roofer, and Joey, a roofing company owner yearning for a second chance. Despite their racial differences, they find a common ground in their shared sense of loss. JC lost his wife to cancer, while Joey cares for his wife with early-onset dementia.

JC's uncle pushes him to return to music as a producer, but burdened by debt, JC hatches a risky plan. He creates a fake social media persona to scam people through phony contests. He turns to Joey for funding, and Joey, seeking an escape from his own reality, agrees. They enlist Ray Ray, Joey's friend, and a recently released ex-con named Jabba to be the face of their scheme.

Their venture takes off, but trouble arises. Jabba, mentally unstable, becomes fixated on JC's sister, Vinita, and threatens both JC and Joey for more money. Meanwhile, JC's nephew, Rome, falls for a neighbor girl and expresses his feelings through music.

The complications escalate. Jabba, jealous of Vinita's love interest, Block, kills him in a nightclub. On top of this, Ray Ray steals the money from the scam. JC and Joey's partnership crumbles.

The climax arrives when Jabba tries to kidnap Vinita. In a dramatic showdown, JC's grandmother intervenes, shooting and killing Jabba.

Despite their falling out, JC reunites with Joey. They discover a hidden talent in one of their roofers, Travis, a country singer. Together, they create a viral song, "High Heels and Mini Skirts," and their record label, SOB Records, is back in business.
